Ajay Devgn's Horror Thriller Surya Prakash Locks Title

Ajay Devgn's highly anticipated horror thriller, Surya Prakash, has officially locked its title, with the film set to be shot through November and targeting a theatrical release in the second half of 2027. Devgn plays a supernatural, morally ambiguous character in this high-concept story inspired by Veda Vyasa’s book Garuda Puran, a Sanskrit text comprising a dialogue between Lord Vishnu and Garuda, the King of Birds.

Panorama Studios is set to unleash a chilling cinematic experience courtesy of director Rohit Jugraj. Whose latest film is poised to ensnare viewers in a labyrinth of mystery, fear, and suspense. The production's success hinges on its ability to craft an atmosphere of unease, rather than relying on flashy spectacles.

With the involvement of actor and producer Ajay Devgn, the project has gained a significant creative boost. The film went on floors on September 2 and will be shot through November. With Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak of Panorama Studios producing in partnership with Ajay's Devgn Films. The film is set to be released in theatres on October 2.
