Amit Shah Meets Hanuman Ansh Team, Discusses Neem Karoli Baba and Indian Culture

The meeting between Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the Hanuman Ansh team at his residence in New Delhi on Thursday marked a significant moment in the film's production. The conversation centered around spiritual figure Neem Karoli Baba, with Shah sharing his knowledge of Indian cultural traditions and their significance.

Chandran Anand, producer of the film, revealed that Shah demonstrated profound admiration for Neem Karoli Baba, highlighting the cultural and spiritual undertones at play in the project. The filmmaker expressed gratitude towards Shah's encouragement to continue exploring such subjects through cinema.

Following this meeting, the team met with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis during the ongoing Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Fadnavis congratulated Vishal Chaturvedi and the team on the film following its theatrical release, acknowledging the cultural significance of the movie.

The Hanuman Ansh team is now focused on expanding the narrative thread further. With plans to explore deeper into the life and spiritual odyssey that underpinned Chaturvedi's bestselling book. Sugandha Malhotra, a member of the production team, noted that the film aims to capture the essence of Indian cultural traditions and their impact on society.

Meanwhile, Bhagvandas Patel, an expert in Indian mythology, has been consulted by the filmmakers to ensure accuracy and authenticity in the portrayal of Neem Karoli Baba's life. Anil Rastogi, a renowned scholar of Indian history, has also been involved in the project to provide valuable insights into the cultural context.

With Amit Shah's support and encouragement, the creative team is confident that the film will not only capture the essence of Indian cultural traditions but also inspire audiences worldwide.

The film has been written, directed, and produced by Vishal Chaturvedi under his banner, Swambhu Media Network. It is planned as the first instalment of a trilogy based on Chaturvedi's book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life.

Set against the backdrop of pre-Independence India, the film follows Lakshmi Narayan during his early years. After the death of his mother, he leaves home in search of God. His journey takes him across Northern India and eventually leads to his transformation into Neem Karoli Baba.
