Moushumi Chatterjee Urges Daughters to Take Time, Be 'Selfish'

According to Moushumi, while it's natural to have a boyfriend, one doesn't necessarily have to marry that person. You can have a boyfriend, but you don’t have to marry that person, she advised during the conversation with Nayandeep Rakshit at the festival. Moushumi also highlighted the changing times and how women's roles have evolved. Change has happened now, and we have come forward as compared to older times, she said. We teach our daughters to take care of their in-laws' house, but we don’t teach our sons.

We think that the woman has to do chores, it’s not a man’s job.

Her advice for young women is to be careful and prioritize themselves. Don't do anything to prove it to others, she advised. noting that do what you like, but don’t go overboard.
