Allu Sirish Complains to Hyderabad Police Over Loud Music at Hanuman Temple

Actor Allu Sirish has taken to social media to express his concern over loud music emanating from a Hanuman temple in Hyderabad. Affecting residents of his housing society.

The temple in Vinobha Nagar has allegedly been playing music beyond the permitted decibel limit, causing disturbance to residents. This includes those living in Aparna One in Shaikpet, where Sirish resides.

According to Sirish, the temple's loud music has been continuing until 2 or 3 in the morning, making it difficult for him and other residents to sleep.

Sirish had previously approached the Film Nagar Police Station about the issue, but no action was taken. This prompted him to share his concerns on social media.

The Hyderabad City Police responded to Sirish's post. Officials stated that the matter had been shared with the Film Nagar Police Station for necessary action.

Ganesh Nimmajjanam, the immersion celebrations that follow Ganesh Chaturthi, may have contributed to the delay in addressing the issue, according to Sirish.

Local officers were asked to inspect the area in Vinoba Nagar and instruct the temple organisers to reduce the volume, according to reports.

The Hyderabad City Loudspeakers Rules of 1963 require a licence for using loudspeakers in public places. And violations can also lead to action under the Hyderabad City Police Act.

Allu Sirish is a Telugu actor and the younger brother of actor Allu Arjun. He made his acting debut with Gouravam in 2013 and has since appeared in Telugu films. This includes Kotha Janta, Srirastu Subhamastu, and Okka Kshanam.
