Tapping on the bottom nav bar, including Share, Edit, and Trash, had no effect. However, tapping "Add To" brought up the folder menu, which was not particularly helpful in this situation.

The user stated that the app never surfaces an error message or a "loading indication," and that the problem only persists after editing. This issue has been reported by other users with Pixel 9 series devices, Pixel 10, and Pixel 11, who experienced similar problems.

Google responded to the user's report, offering aid, but nothing seems to have worked. The user was advised to file an official bug report, which may require more attention. It is unclear whether this problem is the result of the latest Google Photos update, which brings Gemini Spark integration and new "Moods" styles.

The new "Moods" feature allows users to give their photos a different feel, with options for vintage aesthetics. However, this feature has not been widely tested, and its impact on the app's performance is still unknown.
