Prime Minister Narendra, Modi said. that per capita carbon emissions in developed countries are six times higher than India's. And the responsibility of carbon emissions is often unfairly placed on developing nations.

Inaugurating the National Green Tribunal (NGT) international conference on 'The Future of Environment and Climate Dynamics'. Modi charted India's journey to becoming a country with one of the highest shares of non-fossil fuel energy capacity.

"We have started a mission to make homes themselves the center of solar power generation," Modi said. "development is both speedy and sustainable." He also highlighted India's strides in clean mobility, including the sale of 25 lakh electric vehicles last year alone.

India's Renewable Energy Sector Achievements

Modi underlined that among G20 countries, India was the only nation to fulfill its COP21 Paris climate summit commitments ahead of schedule. The completed 'One Nation One Grid' project has successfully prevented 200 million tonnes of carbon emissions.

Nuclear Energy and Environmental Opposition

"And now the country is rapidly working on nuclear energy generation. And those who give long speeches on the environment. At that time, I take forward nuclear energy work, they will go to courts to pause it," Modi shared.

Global Initiatives and Climate Change

Modi listed the global initiatives of International Solar Alliance. Global Biofuel Alliance and International Big Cat Alliance. And underlined that India is protecting its wildlife species while embracing the EV revolution with full strength.
