Vidya Balan Faces Off with Rajinikanth in Jailer 2 First Look Glimpse

Recently, a video surfaced showing Suraj Venjaramoodu rehearsing his character Dileep from Jailer 2. The clip reveals Vidya Balan as Kantha descending stairs with authority, dressed in a blue sari and holding a cigarette.

Nelson Dilipkumar has confirmed that Jailer 2 is the sequel to the 2023 hit film Jailer, starring Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan. The second installment will feature them reprising their roles as husband and wife, Muthuvel Pandian and Vijaya Pandian.

The first song from Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer 2, titled Ala Bolelo, was released in August. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the peppy dance number features Shamna Kasim dancing in a traditional kasavu saree.

The film is expected to pick up where the first film left off. The second part will see Muthuvel, a former jailer, go back to his old ways to avenge his family and keep them safe after the police force doesn’t provide adequate support. Yogi Babu is expected to reprise his character.
