Actor Alia Bhatt has shared pictures from her family's Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations on social media. Giving fans a glimpse into the memorable week that involved welcoming the deity into their home. The actress welcomed the deity along with her husband Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Raha.

As well as her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor and sister Shaheen Bhatt.

Ranbir Kapoor carried the Ganpati idol during the visarjan ceremony, while Alia posted a series of heartwarming photos on Instagram. One photo showed her daughter drawing a sketch of the Ganesh idol on paper and colouring it using crayons. With her face hidden from view.

This moment was especially poignant given the recent decision made by Ranbir and Alia to not let their children be photographed after Saif Ali Khan's stabbing in 2025.

The family's celebrations were a stark contrast to the controversy surrounding Saif Ali Khan's incident. Which led to his consequent decision with Kareena Kapoor to not let their children Taimur and Jehangir be photographed. In fact, meeting the paparazzi informally, Ranbir and Alia asked them to stop taking pictures and videos of Raha.
