'Struggle was beyond struggle' as he shares his journey from dancing for free food to becoming a megastar

Mithun Chakraborty, a veteran actor known as 'Mahaguru', recently shared his early struggles in the industry on Farah Khan's latest vlog. According to Farah Khan, Mithun is the only star who became a megastar after starting his journey as a junior artist. When Khan was young, her uncle, KK Shukla, wrote movies for Amitabh Bachchan. Mithun's father would attend these parties to dance, not for the entertainment, but to earn food for the night.

The family would often say, Bring Mithun home, the boy dances well, and he would perform without charging a fee in return for his meal.
