Path of Exile co-creator Chris Wilson is cautiously optimistic about Diablo 5's potential to return to the series' roots. Citing specific design choices and a return to procedurally generated environments as promising signs.
Wilson, who has been vocal about his disappointment with Diablo 3 and 4, expressed his hopes for the upcoming game in a new video, highlighting the similarities between Diablo 5's logo and the original games, as well as the return of distinct item sizes and inventory management.
