Emraan Hashmi's Gunmaaster G9 Bags All-India Distribution Rights After Awarapan 2 Success

Emraan Hashmi's upcoming film Gunmaaster G9 has secured the all-India distribution rights, with PEN Marudhar emerging as the highest bidder. The action romance, directed by Aditya Datt and starring Emraan Hashmi, Genelia D’Souza, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Singh, is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on November 27, 2026.

Since its August unveiling, the film's teaser has amassed a substantial following, with over 22 million YouTube views. The accompanying single, Afsaana Banaaya Aapne, has achieved remarkable success, surpassing 43 million views and maintaining a strong presence on India's music charts.

A reunion of sorts, this song brings together Emraan and Himesh Reshammiya, nearly two decades after their previous collaborations, with fans and critics alike expressing their enthusiasm.

Emraan Hashmi's recent success with Awarapan 2 has been instrumental in attracting strong trade interest for Gunmaaster G9. The film's teaser and 'Afsaana Banaaya Aapne' have made a significant impact, drawing interest from exhibitors and studios across the board.

Jayantilal Gada, the producer of Gunmaaster G9, expressed his excitement about the film's prospects, stating, "We believe the film has the scale and entertainment value to create a strong theatrical experience."

PEN Marudhar emerged as the highest bidder for the all-India distribution rights, securing the deal. The film's production company, SRE Studio LLP, is thrilled to partner with the team and take the film to audiences across India.
