Cindy Crawford's Son Presley Gerber Dies at 27 After Struggling with Mental Health

Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford, has passed away, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office. An investigation into his cause of death is ongoing, with the examiner's office currently awaiting the results of a pending autopsy.

Presley had been open about his struggles with mental health. Anxiety, depression, and addiction on social media, using Instagram to share his experiences and raise awareness about mental health issues.

In a now-deleted post from 2025, he wrote: "Here's some clarity for ya – the truth will set you free (hopefully) haha," explaining his decision to speak publicly about his struggles.

A representative for Cindy Crawford and Rande, Gerber told. PEOPLE, “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time”.

Presley's sister Kaia had also spoken about her brother's struggles with addiction, saying: "My parents for most of our lives were very, very private and didn't share anything — and now we have this absolute teacher, my brother, who says, 'I'm gonna be very human for everyone.' There's only so much you can hide from the world,”.

Presley entered the fashion world as a teenager, signing with IMG Models when he was 15. He went on to work with major brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino and Calvin Klein.
