Vivek Oberoi has fulfilled his promise to donate his entire remuneration from the upcoming film Ramayana to the treatment of 50 children battling cancer. This marked his 50th birthday with a gesture aimed at making a difference in the lives of young patients.

Ranbir Kapoor and co-stars Yash and Sai Pallavi will not be receiving their share of the Ramayana earnings. A decision made by the lead actor in October 2025. The actor has opted instead to donate the entire sum to support children undergoing cancer treatment.

Speaking to Hindustan Times at the time. Vivek had said, “I told Namit (Malhotra, producer) that I don’t want a penny for this. I want to donate it to a cause observers note in – kids with cancer.”.
