The Vvaan Box Office Hits ₹19 Crore in First Two Days

The Vvaan - Force of the Forrest registered strong domestic growth on its second day in cinemas. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles. It earned ₹11 crore net across India on Saturday, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

This jump follows an opening day net collection of ₹8 crore on Friday.

With Saturday’s gains, the movie's total domestic net collection reached ₹19 crore. The film maintained solid theatrical momentum despite opening to mixed reviews from critics. It also faced competition from the theatrical re-release of Marvel's Avengers: Endgame.

The early earnings give the movie a stronger start than Sidharth Malhotra’s recent theatrical projects. The opening numbers moved past the early business of Param Sundari, Yodha, and Thank God. Trade analysts note the film must maintain steady ticket sales on weekdays to secure hit status.

The supernatural drama features a large ensemble cast in supporting roles. The lineup includes Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari, Anup Soni, and Maniesh Paul. Avtar Gill, Milind Gunaji, Sulabha Arya, Durgesh Kumar, Sundip Ved, and Akshaan Sehrawat also appear in the movie.

The story follows Rishi, played by Sidharth Malhotra, and his wife Mamta, played by Tamannaah Bhatia. The couple lives in Mumbai and struggles to conceive a child. Meanwhile, Rishi’s elder brother, played by Anuup Soni, urges them to visit their hometown for Chhath.

Shweta Tiwari plays his sister-in-law, who repeats the request.

Rishi initially avoids the trip. Heavy financial stress eventually forces him to return home to finalize a lucrative land deal. His wife Mamta and their close friend Ved, played by Maniesh Paul, travel with him.

Rishi intends to sell his family land to build a highway.

The planned road cuts directly through a sacred forest. Local villagers strongly resist the sale and refuse to disturb the holy site. Rishi ignores their warnings and pushes the deal forward, triggering a chain of supernatural events.

Deepak Kumar Mishra and Arunabh Kumar directed the feature film. Balaji Motion Pictures produced the project alongside TVF Motion Pictures and 11:11 Productions.
