CISF Company Commander Among Four Killed in Apparent Fratricide Incident in J&K

A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Company Commander and three personnel were among four killed in an apparent incident of fratricide that took place on Tuesday evening in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district, near the Chamera Dam.

The incident occurred at the Sewa Hydel Power Project, which is located between Jammu and Kashmir's Basohli and Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district. A police officer from The Indian Express reported that the incident took place at the site. There, a CISF company was deployed on the J&K side of the Chamera Dam over Ravi river.

The company was tasked with providing security for the hydropower project.
