Television actor Rohit Chandel shared his first social media post on Saturday after securing bail in a criminal case. The 30-year-old actor was arrested following allegations filed under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

A 16-year-old co-actor had accused him of stalking, harassment, and assault. A local court granted him bail on September 10 after he spent time in judicial custody.

Chandel Captioned Photograph Ancient Sanskrit

Chandel captioned the photograph with the ancient Sanskrit line, "Yato Dharmastato Jayaḥ." The phrase translates into English as "Where there is dharma, there is victory."

The Sanskrit phrase originates from the epic Mahabharata. It also appears inscribed beneath the official emblem of the Supreme Court of India to represent the wheel of righteousness and justice.

Along with the picture, Chandel addressed the conclusion of his daily television serial, Sairaab. The show will air its final broadcast episode on September 14.

Viewers can watch the final episode across the Star Plus television network and the JioHotstar streaming service. The drama series had originally premiered on June 2 before its short run ended.

Chandel shared a note reflecting on his role as Ishaan in the project. He stated that playing the character was a special creative journey that he will always cherish.

Chandel extended direct thanks to key members of the production unit. He mentioned Saibal dada, Leena ma'am, Sanket sir, Nitin ji, Yogi sir, and co-actor Garima Dimri.

He also thanked Rahul bhai, Madirakshi, and Krishna Kaul for carrying the character of Ishaan forward. He praised the entire crew and supporting staff for standing.

Chandel told his fans that their constant encouragement supported him through every phase. He promised his audience that he looks forward to returning soon in his next professional chapter.

Senior Police Inspector Vitthal Laxman Aardekar shared details regarding the police investigation. The officer stated that Chandel traveled from Dahisar to Ghatkopar and made calls to the minor even after being blocked.

Following the bail order, Chandel's family released an official public statement. The family expressed deep gratitude and profound relief after the court granted him bail in the matter.

Chandel previously earned recognition for playing Baji Rao in the television drama Kashibai Bajirao Ballal. He also portrayed the popular character of Dhawal Makwana in the drama series Pandya Store.
