Nora Fatehi Agrees to Bigg Boss Only on One Condition, Later Gets Paid and Sees Success in Jhalak Dikhla

Nora Fatehi, a popular Indian singer and actress, has spoken about her experience participating in Bigg Boss 9. In a recent chat on the Untriggered podcast. She shared that she had initially looked down on reality shows but later came to appreciate their value.

In December 2015, Nora entered the Bigg Boss house as a wild card contestant and was voted out in January 2016. However, she had negotiated with producers to be paid for her appearance, which they initially refused to do. According to Nora, she had to wait for them to pay her before agreeing to participate.

Nora's time on the show was marked by a strong bond with fellow contestant Prince. Who even proposed to her during her stay. The two were often spotted flirting and cosying up in the house.

And Prince has since spoken about how grateful he is to Bigg Boss for bringing them together.

Since leaving the reality show, Nora's career has taken off internationally. In June 2026, she performed at the FIFA World Cup opening, a major milestone in her growing list of achievements.

She was also featured on the official FIFA 2026 song, Siir Siir, alongside Sanjoy and Vegedream.

In August, Nora announced Slay to the Rhythm, a new track from her upcoming EP Play, which she described as very personal. The project follows her earlier release of Sajan Re with Badshah. And she is also set to appear in a special dance number for Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth.

The singer-actress has been making waves in the entertainment industry with her recent performances at major events like the FIFA World Cup and Bigg Boss. With her next project Slay to the Rhythm, Nora is set to take her music to new heights.
