Kareena Kapoor is set to showcase a new side of herself in Meghna Gulzar's upcoming thriller Daayra, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film's release in theatres later this month will coincide with the comedy VIBE, starring Kareena's brother-in-law Kunal Kemmu.

The actor recently opened up about the impending box-office clash at a trailer launch event on Monday. When asked to comment on the situation, Kareena expressed her admiration for Kunal's comedic timing, saying he is "one of the best we have in our industry." She believes there is room for both films to succeed, calling them "wonderful" and assuring that audiences will see a different side of Kunal.

"Gold mere ghar pe hi aayega to I am happy," Kareena said with a light-hearted tone. "Dono picture chalengi to." (And the gold will come to our home only, so I will be very happy if both films do well). So why not?
