Tommy Hilfiger has teamed up with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for its latest commercial, set against the iconic backdrop of The Plaza Hotel in New York.
Kelce, who grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and has spent his entire professional career in Kansas City, Missouri, has become closely associated with New York City during his highly publicized offseason.
On July 4 weekend, Kelce married Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden, an event he described as "perfect" – a chance to live out childhood dreams of being in the venue and the mecca of all sports venues.

The Plaza Hotel, where Tommy Hilfiger himself resided for 11 years, was the setting for Kelce's two-day photo shoot in April. The commercial dropped on September 1st, featuring Kelce in a series of stylish poses alongside fellow celebrities.
"The film spot is magnificent," gushed Virginia Ritchie, Tommy Hilfiger's global chief marketing officer, during an exclusive interview. "We've used some innovative tools to showcase Travis's unique energy and style."
The 1 minute 45 second commercial sees Kelce fist-bumping the doorman at The Plaza Hotel before meeting Peggy Gou, South Korean DJ and singer/songwriter. He then runs into model Gigi Hadid on the elevator, where they share a fun moment.
Other celebrities featured in the commercial include tennis player Frances Tiafoe and former NBA star Carmelo Anthony, with whom Kelce enjoys a drink. "There's a magic to this city," Kelce said, "and I love that you never know who or what's around the corner."

Kelce, a longtime fashion enthusiast, has even founded his own clothing company. He exclusively shared that he "love[s] to pick a different outfit every single day" and have fun in fashion.
The partnership was a long time coming, with Tommy Hilfiger reaching out to Kelce's management team in the fall of 2025. The brand had global retail sales of about $9 billion in 2025, and Kelce is set to appear alongside other celebrities in his next collaboration, scheduled for February.
"We have those two major heartbeats with him," Ritchie said. "This will be one of our biggest and best out-of-home pushes in a long time."
