Sonu Sood's humanitarian efforts have earned him a reputation for being there for those in need, and his recent visit to Nepal is no exception.

Arriving in Kathmandu on Tuesday, Sonu Sood descended upon the devastated areas of Nuwakot, one of the most affected regions From the ground zero, he shared a poignant account of his experiences with HT City.

"I'm here, at Nuwakot, where the situation is dire," Sonu said, his voice laced with empathy. "Meeting those families and survivors was truly heart-wrenching. We're doing our best to provide relief – food supplies, medical aid, shelters – and we've been visiting numerous camps, meeting families, and documenting their details."

On Instagram, Sonu shared a moving carousel of pictures showcasing his interactions with the children who have survived the floods.

"They lost everything – their homes, their families, their childhoods. But together, we can help them find a new beginning," Sonu captioned the post, addressing Nepal directly. "You are not alone."

A veteran of humanitarian efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic, Sonu has garnered immense goodwill for his selfless work. On the ground in Nuwakot, he described the scene as "not good" – with relief camps overflowing with heartbroken people.

"The debris here is surreal," Sonu said, recounting his visit to a miracle green house that miraculously survived the floods. "Whole houses have been buried under the slush. I met the family living there, and it's heartbreaking to see so many people who've lost their livelihoods."

"It's crucial for us to come together in this hour of need," Sonu emphasized. "If you find any details or connection to a survivor, please try to help them. Our charity is doing its part.
