Andhra Pradesh's Chief Electoral Officer, Vivek Yadav, has instructed District Election Officers to document photos and videos of the re-verification process for Absentee, Shifted, Duplicate, and Others (ASDDO) category electors, as part of an effort to re-verify the status of electors not included in the draft electoral rolls.

As part of the election verification process, District Election Officers are mandated to capture photographic and video evidence of Block Level Officers' testimonials, as well as those of newly eligible voters. This includes first-timers and young voters, and those whose names were initially omitted from the draft rolls but later reinstated following the notice period.

Starting from October 8, Block Level Officers will conduct door-to-door visits with lists of electors who were not included in the draft roll for verification. The lists include approximately 44.89 million electors who were not found at their given addresses during the enumeration phase. As well as another 1.73 million electors found ineligible during the notice phase.

Those left off the electoral rolls due to a clerical error will receive support to complete and submit Form 6, ensuring their names are included. The final electoral roll is set to be published on October 16.
