Security agencies have launched an urgent investigation after Union Minister Chirag Paswan received a serious death threat warning him of an imminent attack. The anonymous threat note, which was delivered to his official office, contained alarming claims and prompted immediate security consultations in New Delhi.

The threatening communication falsely referenced Lok Sabha MP Arun Bharti, who is the minister's brother-in-law, in an attempt to create confusion among investigators. Senior officials from the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) immediately forwarded the physical note to central law enforcement authorities for forensic examination.

Following the delivery of the warning message, the minister's office formally petitioned the Ministry of Home Affairs to review his current security arrangements. Paswan currently receives Z-category VIP security cover, but party leaders requested augmented physical escorts given his extensive travel schedule across Bihar and Delhi.

Party representatives stressed that the tone of the message poses genuine concerns for the minister's physical safety during upcoming public rallies and political events.
