Meezaan Jafri Fronts Killer Jeans In New Campaign
Key Highlights
- Meezaan Jafri becomes the official brand ambassador for Killer Jeans' Genes of India campaign.
- The campaign introduces the Neo Flare silhouette alongside Selvedge, K-Tech, and Cool Core denim fabrics.
- Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited aims to strengthen domestic denim manufacturing tailored for Indian consumers.
Jafri represents a generation that views denim as a core fashion choice rather than casual clothing. He shared his thoughts on the partnership.
"Denim is something almost everyone in India relates to, whatever their background or city," Jafri said.
"What I like about Genes of India is that it doesn’t ask people to dress a certain way. It recognises that everyone wears denim differently, and that is what makes it ours," he added.
The brand aims to reflect how modern shoppers pair different cuts with both sneakers and boots.

Alongside the campaign, Killer Jeans launched its Neo Flare collection. The cut stays slim through the hip, thigh, and knee before widening at the bottom.
The brand also introduced Selvedge Denim, focusing on traditional texture and clean construction. Several functional fabrics joined the lineup as well.
K-Tech Denim provides a lighter feel for daily movement. SoftPro Denim offers a softer touch, while Cool Core Denim handles changing weather conditions.
Company leaders believe domestic manufacturing gives the brand an edge with local buyers. Hemant Jain, Joint Managing Director of Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited, explained the strategy.
For Jain, denim is a deeply personal and culturally nuanced fabric. In India, its significance is particularly pronounced, as the way it's worn and styled varies significantly across cities, age groups, and individuals. This diversity is what resonates with Jain.
