Activists from the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) have reported that multiple party members were detained in Rajasthan in the lead-up to a protest planned at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Friday. The CJP claims that its national spokesperson.
Deepak Baliyan, was placed under house arrest in Alwar following his detention by local police overnight on Thursday.
According to the CJP, police personnel in civil attire are currently present at Deepak Baliyan's residence. The Alwar Police have reportedly returned to his home following his detention, sparking concerns for his family's safety. The CJP has alleged that the police are attempting to intimidate his family.
And the activist has warned that the police will be held responsible if any harm comes to his family members.

Yash Goyal, a CJP worker who was among those detained, stated that the group was forced to leave for the Delhi protest at 8 pm on Thursday. However, several workers were picked up without reason.
In Sikar, CJP activist and advocate Sanju Verma, alias Surendra Kumar, was allegedly detained by local police in Reengus at around 9:30 am on Friday. The People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) has alleged that Sanju was subjected to harassment and dragged away.
PUCL national president Kavita Srivastava has stated that the SHO concerned advised Sanju to focus on local issues rather than national issues before releasing him later in the evening. Dalit activist Geegraj Jodli, a resident of Sikar, reported that police officers officers visited his residence and prevented him from leaving.
"A large police officers force is currently present at my home. attempts are being made to prevent me from joining the Delhi protest. This is unacceptable… Let's see who they manage to stop," he stated.
The Directorate General of Police, Law and Order, has thus far failed to respond to calls from The Indian Express for comment.
