World of Warcraft Forever Revives Classic Spirit with Quality of Life Fixes and New Features

Blizzard Entertainment has officially released World of Warcraft: Forever. A new iteration of the classic MMO that promises to revive the original spirit of World of Warcraft while introducing quality of life improvements and new features.

According to Rob Pardo, a veteran WoW player, the game's development team realized the need for more quests in the original game during playtesting, and now they're delivering on that promise. The new game offers a vast number of quests. Many of which link together better, leading players to new zones or teaching them new skills.

World of Warcraft: Forever boasts improved visuals. This includes enhanced lighting and water effects, which bring a new level of vibrancy to the game. The gamepad support, currently in alpha, shows promise, and the addition of a camping system allows players to share buffs while gathering around a virtual campfire.

The game features a new race, the Skyborne, and a starting zone, Zephras Isle, which is a sprawling and modern zone. The game also introduces a new level cap of 60, which will eventually lead to horizontal progression with new gear and zones.
