Even Realities Launches 'Exposed' Drama Over Smart Glasses

The marketing campaign is also a part of VICE Media. It is rolling out across New York and the San Francisco Bay Area this week. Billboards have already appeared across Times Square.
In San Francisco, buses circling Meta's corporate campus carry advertisements directly confronting Connect attendees.
Even Realities also plans to bring advertisements into intimate public venues. The company stated that upcoming promotions will appear in local gyms and restrooms.
Deepa Patel, managing director at VITURE Worldwide, explained why the team chose this storytelling format.

Patel said, We didn’t want to run another traditional ad that people instantly skip.
Patel noted that the team wanted to enter an active cultural conversation. The goal was to create entertainment genuinely worth watching.
Even, Realities stated. plainly that "smart glasses do not need cameras to be useful."
The company believes camera sensors belong on smartphones rather than human faces.
Smart glasses have faced sharp criticism from consumers who dislike unannounced surveillance. These devices have drawn harsh labels and sparked discomfort in shared public areas.

The negative reaction has forced major manufacturers to revisit product safety features. Rumors suggest Meta has experimented with hardware locks for cameras and audio microphones. Other reports claim cameras would disable if a user tampers with the LED indicator.
Meta revealed the Ray-Ban Audio at Connect 2026 without a camera lens. Even so, many commercial glasses continue to feature recording sensors. Meanwhile, VITURE founders have added dedicated privacy features that they hope other manufacturers adopt.
Viewers can watch all eight episodes of "Exposed" on TikTok starting October 8.
