Bulkhead, the developer of Wardogs, has acknowledged a balancing issue since its early access launch. The studio's CEO, John Brammer, confirmed that the team has been aware of the imbalance since pre-alpha stages.
Players have taken to social media and streaming platforms to share their experiences with the game, highlighting issues such as predictable winning streaks and an uneven playing field for blue teams. An eight-hour stream by Wynn Gaming revealed that red teams consistently emerged victorious during this period.
The standard Wardogs format involves three teams of 33 players competing for control over a designated area. Combining elements of battle royale and king of the hill. The team colors are assigned as red, green, or blue.

Despite its popularity, with a community in the hundreds of thousands, player engagement has declined somewhat since early access began. Bulkhead is seeking feedback from players to inform its vision for the game's future development and address concerns about balance and gameplay.
The studio acknowledges that nobody should be losing or winning on a predictable basis. And it is working to identify and address these issues. With just over a week of early access under its belt.
Wardogs has already become a testing ground for the developer's ability to handle community feedback and make data-driven decisions.
Players are advised to share their thoughts on the game's balance and gameplay through official channels. As Bulkhead aims to create a more enjoyable experience for all players. Some community members suggest avoiding play on blue teams until further notice to alleviate imbalance issues.

Wardogs is currently available in early access, with the developer planning to release a full version later this year. The game's popularity and dedicated player base make it an important title for Bulkhead to get right. As it sets the stage for future releases.
Bulkhead will continue to monitor player feedback and make updates to address balance issues. With a growing community and a strong foundation in place, the studio is well-positioned to deliver a high-quality gaming experience.
