Zack Snyder Reveals Catharsis After Warner Bros. Executive Acknowledges He Was Right

Zack Snyder has been opening up about his experience with DC's Justice League. They discovered that he received catharsis after a conversation with an executive at Warner Bros.

Snyder was the original director of Justice League before he left the production and it was completed by Joss Whedon. The film was released in 2017 to mixed reviews and underperformed at the box office. Snyder's version, nicknamed the Snyder Cut, was eventually released on HBO Max in 2021 after a long campaign.

According to Variety, Snyder told the publication that he met with an executive at Warner Bros. who acknowledged that Snyder had been right about his vision for the film. The executive reportedly said, "We were fighting you, and in the end you were right."

Snyder was initially hired to direct Justice League in 2014, but he left the project after a car accident in 2017. The film was subsequently completed by Joss Whedon, who made significant changes to the script and footage.

The changes made by Whedon were reportedly at odds with Snyder's vision for the film. This led to a rift between the two directors. The film received mixed reviews from critics and underperformed at the box office.

This led to speculation about the future of the DC Extended Universe.

Snyder has recently released his latest film, The Last Photograph, which marks a change of pace for the director. The film debuted at TIFF in 2022, but received mixed reviews from critics.
