According to the description, the Containment Facility, "overseen by the submonitor known as Adjutant Repose," utilizes timelock technology based on the Forerunners' knowledge of advanced higher dimensional engineering. The facility's "time bolt" feature is applied to the cage of the ancient creature, which once held dominion over the ring.

The concept art shows various locations on Zeta Halo. This includes a Promethean Knight standing on a cliff above ground, after escaping the labs underneath the surface. The image has a pure Halo vibe, with an open field primed for combat and a soldier ready to dive.
