Farah Khan Apologises to Samay Raina After Being Called #1 YouTuber

Farah Khan, a renowned choreographer and filmmaker, recently visited lifestyle vlogger Saba Ibrahim'It was new Mumbai home. During the visit, Farah was presented with a play button by YouTube to mark her success on the platform.

When she expressed skepticism about receiving such recognition, Saba Ibrahim jokingly told her that she had surpassed all of them in terms of viewership.

Saba, Ibrahim shared. her thoughts on Farah's rapid rise to fame. Saying Farah began vlogging after us but has achieved a level of success we never thought possible.

Later, when Farah protested, Saba added, People love the effort and enthusiasm with which Farah creates her videos. She also makes them engaging. However, Farah immediately shot back, No, no.

It's not just about me. There are many other successful YouTubers like Samay Raina and Sourav Joshi too.

Farah began uploading videos on her YouTube channel in 2024 with her cook Dileep, who has since gained popularity online. She started the channel while taking a break from filmmaking and quickly became popular for her casual cooking videos featuring various celebrities.

Farah married Shirish Kunder in 2004, and their triplets, Czar, Diva, and Anya, were born in 2008. In a recent conversation on Prime Video's talk show Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle Khanna. Farah shared her reasons for venturing into YouTube.

Even when my movie wasn't happening, I decided to explore YouTube as an alternative, Farah explained. With three kids who will be attending university next year, the financial burden is significant. So, I thought, 'Let me start a show on YouTube' – and it just clicked.

Her last film as a director was the 2014 film Happy New Year. With her growing popularity on YouTube, Farah has featured celebrities such as Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Govinda, Chunky Panday, Karan Johar, Sonakshi Sinha, and Manish Malhotra on her channel.
