Bihar Coaching Class Teenage Duo Stopped, Assaulted and Molested by Group of Men

A teenage boy and girl were stopped by a group of men while returning from coaching classes in Bihar's Jamui on Saturday evening. The two were subjected to assault, molestation, and intimidation before being allowed to leave. Videos show the victims pleading with their assailants as they attempted to flee.

According to Superintendent of Police (Jamui) Vishwajeet Dayal. The police had not received a complaint but took action based on videos shared by witnesses. "We have started taking action, and those involved will be arrested soon after we trace them," Dayal stated.

The police investigation is ongoing, with efforts focused on tracing those responsible and bringing them to justice.

The incident occurred on September 19, around 6-7 pm, when the teenagers were returning from coaching classes. A video shared by a source shows the boy riding his scooter with the girl seated behind him as several people surround them. The group's behavior was described as "unacceptable" and has sparked outrage in the community.

The incident has highlighted concerns for the safety of young people in rural areas, particularly in Bihar's Jamui district.
