Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 contestant Renu Sudhi. Who is also the wife of comedian and mimicry artist Kollam Sudhi. Has been hospitalized in the ICU following five rounds of chemotherapy.

Her friend and fellow contestant on BBM7, Sarika KB, recently posted a video on Instagram to provide an update on Renu's health.

According to Sarika KB, Renu's condition is critical, with her platelet count having dropped significantly. Renu has been admitted to the hospital. And, Sarika shared.

that she had claimed Renu would 'recharge her energy' after taking rest post-chemotherapy. However, the fifth session of chemotherapy appears to have taken a severe toll on her health.

Renewal of hope came for Renu Sudhi in June 2026, as, she shared. her breast cancer diagnosis, a journey she had begun nearly two decades prior, in 2008. At that time, a lump in her breast was first detected at the tender age of 15.

Tragedy had already taken a toll on her life. With the loss of her husband, Kollam Sudhi, in a devastating road accident in June 2023. Despite this, the couple's love continued through their son, Rithul, and Kollam's own son, Rahul, from a previous relationship.

The doctor has stated that Renu cannot withstand another round of chemotherapy, and the hospital authorities cannot take such a risk. A PICC line has been attached to her body as she is currently unable to eat. Fans are being asked to pray for Renu's recovery.
