UK Accused of Escalating Ukraine Crisis
Russia has accused the UK of escalating the Ukraine crisis after confirming that British-made drones were used in strikes on targets in Russia.
The Russian Embassy to the UK released a statement saying London was acting as an accomplice and co-perpetrator of the bloody crimes and terrorist attacks.
However, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said Britain stood 'shoulder to shoulder' with Ukraine and was committed to providing equipment needed to defend against Russian aggression.
The UK has been targeting Russia's Wildberries logistics centres, which Ukraine says have been disabled in seven out of 10 locations.

UK drones were used in the attacks, causing over £35bn in economic damage, according to a military source.
Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 and currently controls approximately a fifth of Ukrainian territory.
The situation continues to escalate with both sides trading deadly strikes. On Saturday night, Ukraine fired 822 drones towards Russia, while Russian attacks on Ukraine killed at least seven people and injured more than 39.
Russia has warned the UK that its actions will have consequences, but Britain remains committed to supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
