Australian Man Arrested for Murdering 17-Year-Old Thai Girl Found
Tunchanok Donhomla, 17, was allegedly murdered and her body found in a suitcase in Thailand. Police have arrested an Australian man, Simon Peter Carman, over the crime.
According to authorities, Tunchanok died from suffocation, with brain injury also reported. The DNA on her body matched Carman's, suggesting he placed her body in the suitcase.
Carman is facing four charges, including murder, concealing a body, kidnapping, and indecent act. He initially admitted to taking Tunchanok out but denied all charges.
The case has left Tunchanok's family devastated, with her father describing her as 'deeply saddened' after her death.

Police have collected evidence thoroughly and believe they have closed all loopholes in the case. The suspect had previously told Tunchanok's family he felt bad for what happened to her daughter.
CCTV footage showed Carman entering a condominium with Tunchanok on June 25, before emerging alone carrying a large suitcase. He was arrested shortly after and is now facing prosecution.
Police will submit the case to prosecutors soon, as they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Tunchanok's death.
