Prabhas & Salman Khan Clash Over Spirit Release Date: T-Series

Ever since Salman Khan announced his return to the Eid release window in 2027, fans have been eagerly awaiting news about Prabhas' highly anticipated film, Spirit. The movie's makers had initially stated that it would be released on March 5, 2027, but recent reports claimed that the film was being postponed to give Salman's upcoming project an open release window.

However, in a statement issued 'We are very much on track with the release of Spirit,' said a spokesperson from T-Series. 'The film is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on March 5, 2027, and there is absolutely no change to the announced release date.' This is not the first time the makers have clarified this; in May, they issued a similar statement after rumors had surfaced about the film's postponement.

Spirit marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who previously helmed Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal. To celebrate Prabhas' birthday last October, Vanga released an exclusive 'sound story' from Spirit, which generated significant buzz among fans. The one-minute audio teaser featured a jailer and his assistant discussing an ex-cop in remand.

The film's first look was unveiled on January 1, 2026, as part of a New Year's Day reveal that sparked an immediate online frenzy. The poster featured Prabhas as a rugged character, sporting long hair and visible injuries, exuding an air of intensity that generated significant excitement among his fans. Triptii Dimri was seen standing beside, lighting his cigarette, delivering a raw visual tone that left audiences eager for more.
