Richa Chadha Reveals Ali Fazal's Struggle Days: 'Iss Ladke Ka Kuch Nahi Hoga'

Ali Fazal, the Bollywood actor who has been making waves with his recent hits. This includes Mirzapur: The Movie and Prime Video India's crime series Raakh. Has been speaking about his journey from struggling days to success.

In a recent interview with SCREEN, his wife Richa, Chadha shared. that she has seen him overcome everything and overcome his struggles.

Richa said, Of course, it's more complex than just being supportive, but not this year. We've been together for a long time. We've been married for six years.

Recalling Ali's days of struggle, she said,I've seen him at the time when he lived in a shanty and owned a bicycle. He's not only my partner, but also my friend. To see him overcome everything is just a very different feeling.

Richa also shared that people warned her against being in a relationship with Ali Fazal. Saying his career wouldn't take off and he wouldn't amount to anything. She shared that when she announced her relationship with Ali.

Two members from the film industry openly called her and said. 'Iss ladke ka kuchh nahi hoga (This boy won't result in anything).'

Richa also shared that people were shocked when Ali bagged the 2017 Hollywood film Victoria & Abdul, which starred Judi Dench. Richa lauded Ali and admitted that holding your own in front of Judi Dench is very hard. And the actor did so beautifully.

Richa and Ali's serendipitous encounter on the 2012 film set of Fukrey marked the beginning of a lasting bond between the two. As their friendship blossomed, so did their romance, eventually yielding to a high-profile relationship in 2017.

Following a year of anticipation, the couple tied the knot in 2020 under the Special Marriage Act, with their union formally recognized by law. A year later, they embarked on a celebratory journey across Delhi, Lucknow, and Mumbai, before welcoming their first child, a daughter named Zuneyra Ida Fazal, in 2024.
