Canadian Poison Seller's Dark Web Empire Exposed, UK Victim Describes Exploitation

Elisabeth Belien, a British woman who narrowly escaped a toxic poisoning attempt by Canadian poison seller Kenneth Law, has testified in court about the exploitation she suffered at his hands. Law, a former chef, has admitted to selling toxic substances to recipients in online suicide forums, with a significant proportion sent to the UK.

Belien, who was 23 when Law sold her toxic chemicals, has spoken about the physical and emotional toll of her experience. Despite receiving an antidote, she has struggled with feelings of survivor's guilt, learning that others had died as a result of his actions. Law has admitted to 14 counts of aiding suicides in Canada.

Authorities have revealed that Law sold approximately 1,200 packages of toxic substances to recipients he met in online suicide forums. A significant proportion of these packages were sent to the UK, where they have been linked to numerous deaths.

Belien has spoken about the guilt she felt after surviving the poisoning attempt. Feeling that she had enabled Law to continue his business and supply toxic substances to others who may have been vulnerable. I felt like I had purchased from Kenneth Law, she said.
