The market will be closed on Friday due to the national holiday. With investors unable to buy or sell shares on the two exchanges during the regular session. Trading in equity derivatives will also be halted.

The weak session on Thursday was attributed to persistent foreign fund selling. Elevated bond yields, and a rise in crude oil prices, which weighed on market sentiment.
