Jason Ritter, known for his roles in popular TV shows like 'The Event' and 'Gravity Falls,' has made a splash in the DC Universe with his new series 'Lanterns.' In the show's Season 1 premiere, Ritter plays Billy Macon, a charismatic lawyer who represents Hal Jordan in court.
Ritter's experience in playing complex characters dates back to his early days on CBS's fantasy drama 'Joan of Arcadia,' where he portrayed Kevin Girardi. He later starred as Ethan Haas in the CBS comedy 'The Class' and played Sean Walker in NBC's sci-fi thriller 'The Event.'
Fans of animation may also recognize Ritter's voice work as Dipper Pines in 'Gravity Falls.' His recent projects include starring alongside Kathy Bates in the CBS series 'Matlock,' where he plays Julian Markston, an attorney with a complicated moral compass.
