‘Wasn’t I an anti-national’: Abhijeet Dipke on Union Minister’s offer to join his party

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has come out in support of Republican Party of India (A) leader Isha Koppikar, who recently made headlines for calling herself an 'andhbhakt'.

In a surprising move, Dipke took to social media to express his solidarity with Koppikar, saying 'Par abhi ek mahine Pehle toh me anti-national tha tumhare liye?' (Wasn't I an anti-national for you a month ago).

Dipke's response comes after Koppikar, a Union Minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet, offered the CJP convenor to consider joining her party. The offer was made during an event in Maharashtra, where Dipke had launched a campaign to improve government schools.

Speaking at the event, Koppikar said that Dipke should join her party to fulfil Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar's dream and strengthen society and the party.
