Kane Debunks Jason's CIA Super Soldier Theory, Focuses on Camp Crystal Lake Origins

Brad Caleb Kane, showrunner of the upcoming Friday the 13th prequel series, has set the record straight about Jason Voorhees' origin story. In a recent Instagram post responding to fan theories. Kane confirmed that Jason is not a government super soldier or an Eleven-like experiment from Stranger Things.

"It's not the CIA. He's not a gov't super soldier or an Eleven," assured Kane. "He’s probably just a Chud.

Or at worst a Trog. In any case, all will be known Oct. 15.

This clears up concerns among fans who had speculated about Jason's involvement in the show and whether his origin story would be altered.
