Vishal Chaturvedi, has made a video on Instagram to request people to visit the shrine only after knowing the present condition, citing overcrowding and the need to avoid suffocating women and children.

The rush began ahead of the long weekend. With a government holiday on October 2, followed by Saturday and Sunday, giving travellers three consecutive days off. Mussoorie witnessed a major influx of tourists on Friday, leading to long queues of vehicles along the Mussoorie-Dehradun Road.

Thousands of vehicles arrived from Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab, as reported by HT earlier.

According to Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi, the director of Hanuman Ansh, the shrine is overcrowded, and people have said that this is because of the influence of the film. He urged devotees to visit the shrine only after knowing the present condition.

They added that there are many other shrines to visit too, such as Neem Karoli village and Vrindavan.

Dr. Chaturvedi also expressed concern for the safety of women and children. Who may feel suffocated and get stuck in traffic jams during the rush.

He made a humble request that during this time, if there is overcrowding at Kainchi Dham, devotees should visit other places.
