Greek Beach Fight Leaves 82-Year-Old Man Dead

Following an incident at his residence, 76-year-old Sunday An has been taken into custody by local authorities. A 21-year-old woman accompanying him was briefly detained before being released with visible injuries. The investigation is ongoing, seeking to determine the circumstances surrounding the altercation and the cause of the man's passing.

The incident is believed to have started over a reserved sunlounger, which appeared to be the cause of the initial disagreement. Witnesses told Kathimerini newspaper that the victim seemed to be waiting for other people before the fight escalated.

The 82-year-old man had apparently reserved a spot on the beach and was waiting for others to arrive when a disagreement arose with another beachgoer over the use of the sunlounger.
