Good Smile Company Re-Releases Sadako Ring Nendoroid for Halloween Season

Good Smile Company has re-released the cute but terrifying Sadako Ring Nendoroid this spooky season. Offering horror fans a chance to own the iconic character's likeness at its original price point.

Pre-orders for the Nendoroid are open at the official Good Smile Company US store. With a limited time offer that will close on November 11. The re-release includes a bonus 'TV static' screen, allowing fans to recreate scenes from the 1990s horror film with an authentic touch.

The Nendoroid comes with two interchangeable face plates, one grinning and one "evil face," which captures Sadako's menacing gaze. The well she comes with is also a highlight, featuring a detailed paint job on the rustic stones.

Fans can pose Sadako's natural hand positions to appear as though she's crawling out, adding to the toy's creepy charm.

A tiny VHS tape is also included, which, while not a full-scale replica, allows for some creative poses. In contrast to other Nendoroid releases, Good Smile Company did not provide reels of actual tape to drape around the figure. However, the tiny tape is still a neat addition.

While the re-release is available to pre-order now until mid-November, the official US Good Smile Company listing states that it should arrive between April 1 and June 30 next year. This means fans will have to wait until next year to pose the Nendoroid in time for Halloween.

For those looking for other Sadako-themed collectibles, toy-brand Furyu has released a $27.99 Sadako Noodle Stopper, designed to sit on top of ramen pots. Meanwhile, fans can explore the full range of posable chibi figures starting at $38.99 on Amazon. This includes figures of characters from Metal Gear Solid and Mario and Luigi.

Good Smile Company's re-release of the Sadako Ring Nendoroid is a must-have for horror fans. Offering a unique blend of cuteness and terror. With its detailed accessories and bonus screen, this re-release is sure to be a hit with collectors and fans alike.
