30 Years Later, Tupac Shakur Murder Trial Heats Up as 'Mob James' McDonald Takes the Stand
Tupac Shakur's murder trial has reignited 30 years after the West Coast rapper's death in a drive- Duane "Keffe D" Davis, a former leader of the South Side Compton Crips street gang, is accused of orchestrating Shakur's death and is on trial for murder.
On Tuesday, James "Mob James" McDonald took the stand as a key witness in the case. McDonald, a former member of rival Blood street gang offshoot Mob Piru and enforcer at Suge Knight's Death Row Records label, testified that he was threatened with being held in contempt of court if he did not identify those responsible for Shakur's death.
