Teenage Girl's Desperate Bid for Luxury Leads to Grandfather's Brutal Murder in Alappuzha

A teenage girl allegedly hired her friends to murder her grandfather in a bid for luxury, according to a probe into the man's death. The incident occurred on August 15 in Alappuzha.

The police claim that the girl had chosen to stay with a friend that day, while her grandfather's wife and daughter were away on a hospital visit. The three friends arrived from Kollam via train and broke into the house through the ventilator of the washroom under cover of night.
