Unlocking the Ultimate Dark Souls Look: How to Get All Mortal Shell 2 Shades

Mortal Shell 2 Shades offer a fresh new look for each of your Shells, and we're excited to share how to unlock them all.

For those who purchased the Devout Edition, the full set of Obsidian Shades is unlocked, but if you didn't, you might need some help finding them. The good news is that changing up your look is easy, even if it's not immediately obvious.

To get started, head to a Beacon and rest at one of the elevators. You'll see an option to change Shades for both the Harbinger and your unlocked Shells. However, unlocking them might require some digging.

The first step is to find Blackmarrow Keys, which can be obtained

There are eight Blackmarrow keys in total, hidden in various locations such as:

• In the Desolate Ruins dungeon's secret room in Marrow Keep
• Beneath the tower near Sester's Abbey
• Purchased from a merchant with Night Mode activated

Each key unlocks a chest related to one Shell, and using it will reveal the corresponding Shade. It's essential to think carefully before using up each key, as you won't be able to unlock chests for Shells you haven't found yet.
