Russias Belgorod Region Hit by Deadly Missile Strikes
Missile Strikes in Belgorod Region Leave Six Dead, Four Injured
The acting governor of Russia's Belgorod region, Alexander Shuvaev, has confirmed that six people have been killed and four injured in Ukrainian missile strikes overnight.
A 14-year-old child was among those injured, according to Shuvaev who shared the news on Telegram early Monday morning.
The strikes occurred just a night after what officials described as the largest-scale attack on Russia's side of the conflict.
On the same night, Russian attacks on Ukraine resulted in at least seven fatalities and over 39 injuries.

Shuvaev stated that the latest missile strikes had set fire to a building and damaged a car in the village of Koloskovo in the Valuysky district, which is near Russia's border with Ukraine.
The injured child was taken to hospital while two others received medical assistance, he added.
Recent weeks have seen Moscow intensify its missile attacks across Ukraine, with Kyiv also increasing drone strikes deep inside Russia.
Both sides of the conflict accuse each other of targeting civilians.
