Actress Hayden Panettiere Passes Away at 36
Tragedy has struck the entertainment world as beloved actress Hayden Panettiere passed away on Sunday, August 16, at the age of 36. According to authorities, law enforcement and EMS teams in Greenville, South Carolina, were dispatched after receiving a report of an unresponsive female.
Panettiere's long-time agent confirmed her passing, sharing a statement from her father, Alan Panettiere, which described his daughter as an 'incredible light' who brought immense love and joy to those around her.
Panettiere began her acting career in 1994 on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live. She went on to appear in various shows and films, including Heroes, where she played a character with self-healing abilities.

The actress also had a successful run on the ABC musical drama series Nashville from 2012 to 2018, alongside Connie Britton. Panettiere reprised her role in the 2023 film Scream 6.
Earlier this year, Panettiere published a memoir titled This Is Me: A Reckoning, which discussed her struggles growing up in the public eye and her personal battles with addiction.
