UFC 333 Set to Return to Etihad Arena with Stacked Card

UFC 333 is set to return to Etihad Arena in the United Arab Emirates on Saturday, October 24, featuring a stacked card headlined 1 contender Movsar Evloev in the main event.

Volkanovski recently regained the vacant title and successfully defended it in February, while Evloev enters with a perfect 20-0 record, having secured significant wins over Aljamain Sterling and Lerone Murphy. The co-main event will see bantamweight champion Petr Yan face former titleholder Merab Dvalishvili in a highly anticipated trilogy bout.

Five fights have been confirmed for the Paramount+ streaming event, with Volkanovski looking to secure his second win of his second reign with the belt against Evloev. Yan, also in his second reign, faces Dvalishvili in a trilogy bout that promises to be an exciting matchup.

The UFC returns to Etihad Arena for the third time, following previous events in 2020 and 2022. The event is expected to draw a large crowd, given the popularity of the fighters involved.

Volkanovski, who is also known as 'The Great', has been one of the most dominant champions in the featherweight division, holding the title from December 2019 through February 2024 and defending it five times during that period. He regained the vacant belt in April 2025 with his decision win over Lopes.

Evloev, on the other hand, has been on a tear, winning all of his fights since making his UFC debut in April 2019. The 32-year-old Evloev is coming off a statement win over former UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling and will look to continue his perfect record against Volkanovski.
